Here’s a sneak peek at a series of designs I’m working on called Polished Tessellations. Right now, I’ve completed 12 out of 20 designs, so look forward to the debut of the entire series sometime soon!

Wow, these are really cute! I love those panda decals. I never have an eye for creating cute designs on my own, so thanks for adding some :3 to my tumblr!
Yay! Doing modern art on nails is so fun, isn’t it?
Wow, thank you so much! You are so nice!
I love Frank Stella too! His lines are so clean, the colors so vibrant.
Hahaha it doesn’t really require any balls to do, just try it! If it doesn’t work, try again! Practice makes perfect :D
Polished in: Chain Mail
This was inspired by the cover of Seamus Heaney’s translation of Beowulf, the longest and oldest surviving poem of
Wait, sorry, I already wrote that paper.
Anyway, the cover design looked so great and so detailed that I just had to try some chain mail of my own. It doesn’t really do the cover any justice, especially not in the days-old state shown here, but I hope you like it anyway! (And I know it’s a bit blurry :(, I’ll do better next time.)

MYNAILSAREDOPE’s Peacock Feather Nails.
I’ve been seeing feather nails EVERYWHERE. Here’s my interpretation of them since I don’t have any real feathers. I wanted to try something different from the usual, so I did a drag-marble technique for these.
These are amazing! I’m starting to experiment with drag-marble…we’ll see what happens…
Thank you so much! And there are definitely more to come :)

Polished in: Modern Art
I recreated a different Mark Rothko painting on each finger, with a Piet Mondrian painting on the ring finger as an accent nail.
